Dr. Bruce Viren:

Bruce obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1982. He and his wife Dr. Cindy Sellin started River Valley Veterinary Service in 1984. Dr. Viren is involved in the Equine and Small animal departments at River Valley. His special interests include dentistry, endoscopy, ultrasound and general surgery in both departments. He enjoys sport activities like basketball, volleyball, adventure racing, and loves to go camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
Dr. Cindy Sellin:

Cindy earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering and Applied Physics from Cornell University in 1979. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1983. She and her husband Dr. Bruce Viren started River Valley Veterinary Service in 1984. Her special interests are canine behavior, geriatrics, performance medicine and dermatology. Much of her free time is spent parenting their 3 children, supporting volleyball activities, and gardening. Her passion for horses and combined training has been put on hold until she has more time to commit to the sport.
Dr. Laurie Miller:

Laurie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 1994. She is a native of Prior Lake and returned to work in the area at River Valley in 1997. In January of 2003 she became a partner. Her special interests are canine and feline internal medicine, ultrasound, and preventive care. She has 2 cats, Ebony and Sampson and a Welsh Corgi dog named Moxie. Laurie's hobbies include gardening, exercising in the great outdoors, scrap booking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Christa Williams:

Christa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton College in 1992. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 2001. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include caring for older pets, cat behavior problems, dentistry and ultrasound. She also enjoys meeting new puppies and kittens. Christa currently lives with her two cats Griffen (aka Piggy), Frida and her Standard Poodle Fia.
