Welcome to our new Instructor
Mike Sweeney!
RVVS is happy to announce that we have added another instructor to our popular Dog School training team. Mike has been training dogs for the vast majority of his life and has instructed obedience and other disciplines at dog clubs and dog schools in the Twin Cities. Mike rehabilitates dogs, specializing in sadly abused breeds like the American PIt Bull Terrier and is also active in rescue with organizations throughout the United States. When not working, training or playing with dogs, Mike likes to spend his free time scuba diving, mountain biking and traveling. His family includes wife, Sue, four children and their spouses, seven grandchildren, three dogs, Billy, Catherine, George and two cats Tigger and Maggie.
Mike's first class at RVVS will be a Level I class, starting Thursday, September 16th.

Dan has been a Dog School Instructor at River Valley since 1995. He has been training dogs in agility and obedience since 1988. When he is not teaching dogs and their people, he practices law in the Twin Cities.Dan's out going personality and vast dog knowledge make him a very popluar instructor! His family includes wife, Margaret, kids, Cait, Claire, & Mac, dogs Lefty and Joe. Dan's hobbies are dogs, golf, and kids!!!

Tiana started working at River Valley Veterinary Service in 1995 as a part-time Kennel Assistant and now works as a full-time Veterinary Assistant. She has pursued one of her passions and has become a Certified Obedience Instructor at RVVS!
Tiana enjoys working with clients and their pets. She and her husband Jeff have two dogs, a cat, a bird and many fish. She is very interested in fish and aquarium maintenance. Tiana’s other hobbies include training her dogs in agility and obedience, fishing, tennis and hanging out with friends and family.
