Brenda Gillaspey, AHT
Brenda received her A.A.S. degree in Animal Health Technology from the University of Minnesota-Waseca. She has been with RVVS since 1990, when the building was still under construction. Brenda is married to Mark, they have two grown children, Jessica and Zachary. Ayka is the German Wirehair Pointer that completes their family. Brenda enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking and doing some scrap booking.
Terri Fuchs, AHT
Terri earned an A.A.S. degree in Animal Health Technology from the University of Minnesota - Waseca in 1983. She has worked at River Valley Veterinary Service since 1994. Terri really enjoys working with animals and their owners as well as keeping up with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Terri and her husband Walt have two adult children. Their daughter, Megan, and her husband Mike live in Alaska, and their son Callen is in college studying art. Their dog, Willow, is a black Labrador who loves to hunt, play Chuck-It and go for endless walks in the park. Terri and her family enjoy spending time at their cabin in Wisconsin, kayaking and traveling.
Tiana Peterson, VA
Tiana started working at River Valley Veterinary Service in 1995 as a kennel attendant and now works full time as a Veterinary Assistant. Tiana enjoys working with clients and their pets. She is a Certified Obediene Instructor and teaches Pup's R Us and Level I obedience classes at our River Valley Dog School. She and her husband have two dogs, a cat, a bird and many fish. She is very interested in fish and aquarium maintenance. Her other hobbies include fishing, sailing, tennis, and hanging out with her family and friends.
Nancy Schrupp, CVT
Nancy is a Certified Veterinary Technician, she gradutated in 1998. She joined the River Valley Veterinary Service team in January, 2004. Nancy and her husband Andy and live in Apple Valley with their three cats, one dog, and every now and then, a pet rat. She spends her free time with family, friends, and her pets. She enjoys reading, walking, camping, motorcycle rides, and crafts.
Michele Turrentine, CVT
Michele is a Certified Veterinary Technician, she graduated in January 2005 and started at River Valley Veterinary Service in August of that same year. She lives in Bloomington with her husband Sam and their two cats, Sophie and Alby. In her spare time she likes to read, go to the movies, run and hang out with friends and family.
Haley Stratton, VA
Haley Stratton came to us from Denton, Texas in the spring of 2008. She has worked as a Veterinary Assistant for creatures great and small since 2002. She has a great love for animals and their people. She is currently pursuing a degree as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Haley lives in New Prague with her boyfriend, Randy, and their 4-legged 'child', a German Shorthaired Pointer named Paislee. She also has two horses that live with her mom back home in Texas. She loves country music, dancing (all that good 2-steppin' Texas stuff!), fishing, and the great outdoors. Haley is also very artistic - check out her work in the River Valley Dog School training area!
