Welcome to River Valley Veterinary Service!

River Valley Veterinary Service was established in 1983 by Dr. Cynthia Sellin and Dr. Bruce Viren. The beginning years were dedicated to an equine ambulatory service focusing on client education and the maintenance of healthy horses. In 1989 the decision was made to build a clinic in Prior Lake and offer a combined small animal and equine practice. Since June of 1990, River Valley Veterinary Service has been a full-service care facility for small animals, while maintaining our long-standing equine ambulatory service . In January of 2003, Dr. Laurie Miller became a partner in our practice. From our clinic's beginning,  River Valley Veterinary has continually endeavored to set the standard of superior veterinary care in the Prior Lake, MN area. In addition, we offer obedience classes, grooming and pet supplies.

Each month RVVS holds a drawing for a microchip identification device. This is a $68.99 value for you and your beloved pet! This includes the microchip, activation, registration and one year enrollment in the HomeAgain Pet Recovery System.

Esther is a 7 year old female Pug who shares her home with Laura and Matt Pioske.  Esther’s favorite thing in life is her meal time! She loves walks, laying in front of the fireplace or in the line of a sunbeam. Ester loves all people and gets really excited when she gets to go on a “field trip” to River Valley!
